CloseArtisans hand carve our island inspired designs onto wood, then stamp the fabric, this is known as block printing. From start to finish, it takes several days to create a single summer blanket. Even the striped trim is printed by hand. Our signature hand printed design is sandwiched between 2 layers of fine cotton creating the softest and lightest blanket.
Machine wash cold/line dry
Its a very very function sheet/blanket and I use it all the time in the summer. It''s also been durable, keeping its pattern and the integrity of the outside tulle.. However, machine washing it and drying (even on air) causes it to not look as "flat" because the layers pull apart a bit. I have no place to line dry anything (not permitted where we live) So anything that has that restriction is 4 instead of 5 star for me.
It has been really hot in California (100+ degrees) and this blanket has replaced all other bedding for me. The only drawback is that the prints are all very tropical and it doesn't necessarily go with my minimalist vibe - but I'll obviously make an exception for its functionality!
I bought the summer blanket for my wife as a birthday present. She had been asking for one and I always thought it was a little expensive but it is worth it!
Their summer blankets are the softest! I love the prints and the quality.
